I hope that you may rejoice in reading this letter. We the Tay Martinez family want to share how blessed we were to be able to travel to Guatemala with the purpose of visiting our families and share the good news of salvation, with many people in need in our communities (San Martin Jilotepeque and San Andrés Itzapa).
God opened the doors to be channels of blessing in “Escuela Rural Mixta” a school in the area of Chijocon on January 5 this year; we had the opportunity to bless 40 families and 80 children with their school supplies from first grade through sixth grade. This included everything from notebooks, paintings, drawings, rulers, erasers, sharpeners, crayons, pencils and pens. The Holy Spirit gave us the wisdom to manage well the financial resources that the brothers and sisters had placed in our hands, in order to help children but still bless the school with a desk and filing cabinet for organizing children’s work. In addition bless 5 neediest families by paying the registration of their children in school.
It is important to share that registration had a cost of $6.00 per child. Anyone here in the United States could say that's nothing; but sad to know the value of a regular work day for one of these people, it is (50 Quetzales) equivalent to $7.00. We are members of Fountain of Salvation in North Bergen, every year we hear “Make a child smile on Christmas day.” The vision has been captured and it was wonderful to see the joy that radiated the faces of the children who were blessed with gifts that they wanted for Christmas and were surprised by the sponsorships PASPLAND and North Bergen who sent their gifts.
As parents we were very ministered as Yamanni our daughter who is 9 years old got to see the reality of life in Guatemala. These children live with basics only. How blessed we are to live in such abundance in this nation. I pray that God will supply them so they can succeed in their studies and start getting out of extreme poverty. Let’s continue to sow in the needy. We give all the glory to our God and declare blessings over the ministry of Fountain of Salvation.

Una carta de la Familia Tay-Martinez...
Nosotros la familia Tay Martínez deseamos compartir cuan bendecidos fuimos al poder viajar a Guatemala con el propósito de visitar nuestras familias, y compartir las Buenas nuevas de salvación, con tantas personas necesitadas, en las comunidades de (San Martin Jilotepeque y San Andrés Itzapa). Dios nos abrió las puertas para ser canales de bendición, en la Escuela Rural Mixta de la aldea Chijocon el día 5 de Enero del presente año; tuvimos la oportunidad de bendecir a 40 familias y 80 niños con sus útiles escolares desde primer grado a sexto. Esto incluía desde cuadernos de raya, doble línea, cuadros, dibujo, regla, borrador, sacapuntas, crayolas, lápices y bolígrafos.
El Espíritu Santo nos dio la sabiduría para poder bien administrar los recursos financieros que los hermanos habían puesto en nuestras manos, con el propósito de ayudar a los niños pero aun pudimos bendecir la escuela con un pupitre y un archivador para la organización de los trabajos de los niños. Además bendecir 5 de las familias mas necesitadas con el pago de la inscripción de sus niños en la escuela. Es importante compartir que la inscripción tenia un costo de $6.00 dólares por niño. Cualquiera acá en los Estados Unidos podría decir eso no es nada; pero que triste es conocer el valor de un día de trabajo regular para una de estas personas, es de (50 Quetzales) equivalente a $ 7.00 dólares.
Somos miembros de Fuente de Salvación de North Breguen y cada año escuchamos hagamos sonreír un niño pobre en navi- dad. La visión ha sido captada y fue hermoso ver la alegría que irradiaban los rostros de algunos niños que fueron bendecidos con regalos que deseaban para la pasada navidad y fueron sorprendidos por nuestros hermanos patrocinadores de Paspland (North Bergen) que le enviaron sus regalos.
Como padres fuimos muy ministrados al igual que nuestra hija Yamanni (9 anos) al poder ver la realidad que se vive en Guatemala. Estos niños viven con lo básico solamente.
Cuan bendecidos somos al vivir con tanta abundancia en esta nación. Oremos que Dios les supla para que puedan salir adelante en sus estudios y comenzar a salir de los niveles de extrema pobreza. Continuemos sembrando en los mas necesitados. Damos toda la gloria a nuestro Dios y declaramos bendición para el ministerio de Fuente de Salvación.
As Christians, as followers of Christ, we are called to love people. I believe it’s our first calling; we should love totally and with no conditions. How should we love each other? How should we show this love?

MEXICO:
Blessings! We thank God for each sponsor and for you who made the Christmas Celebration possible in PASPLAND Mexico. On the 16th in Ciudad Victoria there was happiness and smiles. We were able to give a present to each small child. We gave them meals and a delicious dessert, we blessed 30 mothers with a pantry, and dreams were realized with so many toys and games.
January 3rd in Juarez, we got together with the children who are part of the program there, and I saw a palpable change in the lives of the children in the past 8 months since we opened a center there. It was also a time of joy, smiles, and sharing. Guillermo, one of the children, received a pair of sneakers. His face was filled with joy when he changed his old shoes for the new ones. This was impactful for us, also in seeing a Barbie in the hands of Gadiel, and in seeing other children with their toys. The truth is that Social Action goes beyond this, and we were able to bless 145 children in PASPLAND Mexico.
2014 was a very fruitful year in the lives of each child and each family that was represented. PASPLAND goes beyond a plate of food. We are changing the fates of many of the children and also affecting their families. Thanks to the sponsors for collaborating in this task, in impacting and social transformation. Bendecida. Damos gracias a Dios por cada patrocinador y a Uds. que hizo posible realizar la fiesta de Navidad a los niños de Paspland Mexico, el 16 se llevó a cabo en Ciudad Victoria donde había gran alegría, sonrisas, en la vida de los niños se pudo dar un juguete a cada uno de los pequeños. El día 3 de enero se realizó en Juárez reuniendo a los niños que forman parte del Programa allá vi un cambio palpable en la vida de los niños en estos 8 meses de que se abrió el programa allá, fue también un tiempo hermoso de risas, alegría, convivencia, el niño Guillermo recibió sus tenis su varita se llenó de alegría al cambiar sus viejos zapatos por sus tenis nuevos fue impactante esa escena, poner la Barbie en manos de la niña su sonrisita, Gadiel cuando vio su valón del América se alegró y cada niño que recibió un juguete ver su alegría y en su rostro una gran sonrisa por ello, la verdad que la Acción social va más allá, sueño de Navidad bendijo a 145 niños en Paspland Mx.
2014 fue un año de gran fruto en la vida de cada niño y cada familia representada los cambios de pronósticos de vidas son palpables. Paspland va más allá de un plato de comida, Paspland está cambiando el destino y el pronóstico de muchos niños y también afectando su familia. Is a champion still a champion if he cheats? Are believers of Jesus still righteous if they don’t live it out? Let’s make it our aim to please God in all things, regardless of our circumstance, knowing that we serve and live for the King of Kings and Lord over everything.
God has great purpose for those who are in this world but remain detached from it. He came into our hearts to be the shining church, if we walk among darkness we should be light, if our acquaintances are bad, bring them on track, if lies surround you, then speak the truth.
Overall, the maturity of a person is the high point of intellectual and emotional development, it’s a constant process. Likewise, the spiritual aspect involves a process of maturity, it starts with accepting Jesus Christ and involves several stages to get us to fully live by Him and for Him.
We believe in a God who has mercy for those who hope in Him and especially for those who practice mercy themselves. God provides forgiveness and mercy for a grieved and humble heart before His presence.
There are many people (even people like you!) who have issues with anxiety. They worry too much about the problems that surround them in life. How awesome is it to know that we have the cure for anxiety?
In our walk with Jesus many storms will come to our lives. These storms can have a great impact to us: they will either make us trust God more and bring us closer to Him, or make us doubt, have fear and turn away from Him. Ever thought that the storm is so big that you can't beat it?
Many times when we make a mistake and fail God, we tend to stay away from him. We feel so bad about ourselves and failing God, that we do not want to have anything to do with Him. We don't pray, don't want to read the Bible, sometimes we don't want to go to church...
I have never read about nor have I experienced a time where you are able to search for things as easily as you can nowadays. Today we enjoy a lot of technology, science, inventions, just as the Bible prophesied in the book of Daniel...

Not sure if you're like me, but it seems that failure is a better friend than success. Of course, most leaders only teach the "success" side of the story.
We hope people don’t notice and we try to continue in a game of “pretending”. We feel uncomfortable if anyone asks us of how we are doing spiritually, because we'd rather stay “pretending” and live our lives with a “little” sin. I mean come on, no one is perfect!
